It is our goal here at the Levite Jewish Community Center to provide a happy, healthy, safe, and fun environment for our students, parents, and instructors. Swim lessons help adults and kids alike increase their skills and comfort in the water. They are ideal for students who learn better by instruction, this includes anxious first-time swimmers, kids with special needs, adults who have put off learning to swim, and competitive swimmers who would benefit from targeted training on specific skill sets. Lessons are also a great fit for former runners and other athletes who want to learn about lower impact exercise options.
When you or your child learn how to swim at the LJCC, you receive all of the benefits of swimming in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Our instructors have a passion for helping swimmers excel. Our experienced teaching team includes coaches and swimmers who have spent most of their lives in or around an aquatic environment.
Many parents wonder whether swim lessons will be the best fit for their child. While every young swimmer is different many kids do tend to benefit from instruction. If you are wondering which type of lessons will be the best fit for your child we encourage you to contact our instructors by their listed email and get their professional insight.
It is our goal for our swim students to learn the life-saving skill that is water survival.
Our semi-private lessons last 30 minutes and are built for multiple swimmers. This makes swim lessons a wonderful fit for siblings or friends who want to swim together.
All swimmers and parents that are in attendance of swim lessons will be screened upon arrival at the Welcome Center. No one will be permitted into the facility if they have a temperature above 100.4. Parents/Guardians must remain in the designated spectator’s area, wear a face covering at all times, and abide by social distancing guidelines.
