Season 2 of Southern Jewish Voices will launch on October 25 at noon, when Margaret Norman will interview Ronne Hess in front of a live audience.
More than 200 B’ham business and nonprofit leaders attended our “Together Against Antisemitism” program on August 25.
While we’re proud to be Jewish here at The J, we’re also proud to have so many non-Jewish members — some of whom might be unfamiliar with the Jewish calendar and Jewish traditions.
Our facility is storied, dynamic, retro, and beloved. It’s also heavily used, old (that’s the “retro”), and a bit tired in places. Keeping it all working properly takes attention, expertise, money… and even a little TLC.
