DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 43rd annual Sam Lapidus Montclair Run on Thanksgiving morning\, Thursday\, November 28th at the Levite Jewish Community Center. Registration is open now for this extremely fun and rewarding\, family-friendly\, community event. \nThe Sam Lapidus Montclair Run honors the short but very full life of Sam Lapidus\, who died of Ewing’s sarcoma\, a form of childhood cancer\, in November 2008 – just nine days before his 15th birthday. Funds raised from the run will be donated to the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s of Alabama and the Levite Jewish Community Center. \nAs we approach Thanksgiving this year\, we give thanks for all our friends and family\, and for those who run and walk and support our efforts to put an end to childhood cancer. \nSCHEDULE OF EVENTS \nWednesday\, November 27: 9AM – 5PM – race packet pick up and registration at the Levite Jewish Community Center \nThursday\, November 28 (Race Day): 7 – 8:30AM – Race Day registration\, 10k\, 5k and 1-mile Fun Run and race packet pickup in the LJCC gymnasium \n8:10AM – Team Photos (teams should meet at the Coke truck)\n8:30AM – 10k/5k start\n8:30 – 9:45AM – Fun Run registration\n10AM – Fun Run start\n10:30AM (approximately) – Awards Ceremony in LJCC gymnasium \nPricing:\n$36 for the 5k\n$36 for the 10k\n$18 for the 1 Mile Fun Run \nHOW TO REGISTER: \n1) register online at slmr.itsyourrace.com\n2) Race Day prior to the start of the event
