DESCRIPTION:Noon-1:30 p.m. \nYom HaZikaron\, Israel’s Day of Remembrance\, is a time to honor the memory of those who have lost their lives in battle and to acts of terror. \nThe event is free\, but registration is required. \nThis year\, our commemorative event will hold a special focus as we honor the memory of the victims of October 7 and the current war. We invite you to join Alon Koren\, a member of the Kfar Azza community\, who will share his personal story from October 7 and explain the significance of this year’s Yom HaZikaron. \nThis program is supported by the Israel Engagement Fund: JCC Association of North America Program Accelerator and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs\, and the Birmingham Jewish Federation and Foundation. \nBe prepared to show ID for admission.
