Giving Tuesday — which this year occurs on November 29 — was created 10 years ago as a way to encourage people to do good. Here at The Levite Jewish Community Center we’re all about striving to do good, including providing $128,000 in need-based scholarships last year, partnering with the American Red Cross to host bi-weekly blood drives, providing camp and athletics programs for some 700 kids annually, and much more (see the graphic).
This year, all Giving Tuesday donations will directly support scholarships, making our recreational, educational, and social programming accessible to those with financial need.
Thank you for helping us continue the good by donating any amount.
