Cary Marler, a member of the maintenance crew here at The J, passed away on Monday, August 1. “He loved this place and everyone here,” says Facilities Director Doug Hocutt. “He will definitely be missed.” Cary worked at The J for two and a half years, during which time he kicked off his workdays with a 4 a.m. arrival.
“Cary was a friend to every person he met,” recalls Associate Executive Director Brooke Bowles. “He remembered details of family members and always asked about how everyone’s family was doing.”
