Camp LJCC
Our series of summer camps offers myriad opportunities for kids to play, explore, and experience life in an environment based on Jewish values and culture. This year’s theme is “Making Mensches,” which uses a favorite Yiddish word that translates into “making people of integrity and honor.”
Shravya Utlapalli, youth and camp director at The J, looks forward to kicking off the 70th summer of Camp LJCC. “We’re still going strong because of the lasting foundation built by this community,” she says. “That’s why it’s especially fitting that this year we’re focusing on how hard we work to shape each generation of campers into mensches who are well-rounded community members and leaders.”
