You and Me: Together

You and Me:

Together is a weekly trio of interactive classes for young children and a care-giver, requiring the care-giver to participate and engage with their child, uniquely benefiting every participant.  The classes will provide a way for you to connect with other care-givers and children, tighten the bond between you and your child, develop your child’s movement, motor and water skills, strengthen and tone your body, and build over-all fitness and confidence of every participant.  These classes will be for children ages 4 months through 2 years old and an accompanying care-giver.

Beginning September 8, classes will be Wednesdays at 10:30 am in the Mindy Body Studio, Thursdays at 10:30 am at the indoor pool, and Fridays at 11:30 am in the Mind Body Studio.

You and Me: Move Together

Our You and Me: Move Together program is not your average Mommy and Me class!  We will focus on a series of strategic exercises that include your child while challenging and benefitting you, the care-giver.  We will spend time singing, dancing, stretching, toning, and tightening.

You and Me: Splash Together

In our You and Me: Splash Together program, we will introduce and develop water awareness and comfort, as well as coach you as the care-giver in teaching swim-readiness skills.  We will spend our time focused on interactive songs and games as well as skill-development.

I learned to swim at a very early age at the old YMHA and spent much of my teens at the JCC – AZA, day camp counselor, Center Players, more. The Center has always been there and a part of my life.

The LJCC is funded in part by the Birmingham Jewish Federation, the Birmingham Jewish Foundation and the United Way of Central Alabama.
