Madeline Oliff moved to Birmingham through a Venture for America Fellowship after graduating from Tufts University. Originally from Chicago (but with ties to B’ham’s Sikora family), Southern Jewish Voices interviewer Margaret Norman will ask Madeline about navigating the South — and the Jewish South — as a transplant in her mid-20s.
Come listen to Madeline at The J on Thursday at 6 p.m.
SJV uses a live-interview format to present stories about Jewish life in Birmingham, and all SJV programs are recorded and archived for the benefit of future generations. The program is made possible by an $8,200 grant from the Alabama Humanities Alliance.
