Youth Basketball

Season: November 17 – February 4
Our youth sports leagues provide opportunities for play and growth through sports for children of all ages. Qualified coaches will help children build skill sets, learn teamwork, and increase confidence while connecting them to a new set of friends. Youth Sports follow a seasonal calendar with multiple sports options in Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
Programs & Levels:
- Mini Hoopers (Ages 3–4.5) – Beginner coordination and ball familiarity.
- Fast Breakers (Pre-K4–K) – Introduction to team play
- High Flyers (1st–2nd) – Fundamentals, small-sided games, team play.
- Rain Makers (3rd–5th) – Competitive team: Basketball IQ development.
Practice Schedule:
- Mini Hoopers: Mon & Wed | 1:15–1:45 PM, 3:15–3:45 PM, or 5:00–5:30 PM
- Fast Breakers: Mon & Wed | 4:00–4:45 PM
- High Flyers: Mon & Wed | 5:00–5:45 PM
- Rain Makers: Tues & Thurs | 3:45–4:30 PM

Soccer
Starts September 8
Elevate your child’s soccer experience as we bring them closer to the action. So lace up and prepare for a thrilling ride filled with unforgettable moments and a shared passion for the game.
Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays:
- Ages 3-4.5
- Ages 5-6
- U8 (girls born 2018)
- U8 (boys born 2018)
Flag Football
Starts June 4
Flag football is one of the fastest-growing non-contact sports.
We teach the fundamentals of the game, including running plays, throwing/rout plays, and more. We are a co-ed league that plays in-house games, and the league is a family-oriented league that allows our teams to have fun in a positive environment.
T-ball
Starts June 3
Knock it out of the park with T-ball at The J!
A crucial step in learning baseball, T-ball is a modified game batted from a tee. Here at the J we will play co-ed and in-house games against one another as we sharpen our skills in throwing, catching, and running bases.
Try Sports
- February 17-March 12 (Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Ages 3-6
Try Sports is a four-week multi-sport program designed for kids who maybe just aren’t quite yet sure what sport(s) they want to play. The next session will feature flag football, t-ball, soccer, and — new to the program — gymnastics. As always, our qualified coaching staff will create a fun and encouraging environment for all participants.

Futsal training
The J now offers Futsal indoor soccer lessons conducted by Derek Rios. Futsal indoor soccer is played in the Wood Gym in an area that is the size of a basketball court. This six-week program will offer challenges in ball control and quick decisions, and calls for understanding the importance of ball mastery and confidence.
