Jewish Culture and Conversation

April 19 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, repeating until May 31, 2023

Have you ever wondered why there are so many Jews in Hollywood? Why do Jews eat gefilte fish and cholent and wish each other mazal tov and l’chaim?  What are the causes of antisemitism? What does Judaism say about Christianity? And what are the roles of women in Jewish life?

If these questions intrigue you, then you might want to show up for our latest venture with Rabbi Yossi Friedman. The weekly course is open to everyone and will meet conveniently at noon (before mahjong) in the Senior Lounge. Bring your own lunch or pre-order it from Bo’s Kosher Cafe.
