After a week of being on the lam(b!) and running amok in the Mountain Brook area, the famous fugitive goat “Billy the Kid” (or “Billy the Goat” or Monty or whatever you want to call him) was finally — and safely — corralled at The J on Sunday. A team of LJCC members and staff worked together with the escapee’s owner to apprehend the caprid on Levite Field.
“He probably stopped by because he knows The J is open to everyone,” quips Executive Director Brooke Bowles.
