Everyone was a winner at the 48th annual Sam Lapidus Montclair Run

It looks like the 48th Sam Lapidus Montclair Run was the best ever, with a record 1,681 runners from 34 states combining with our sponsors to raise more than $120,000 — including some $12,500 for the Children’s of Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.

The best times of the day were:

  • 10K women: Elizabeth Laseter, 36, from Charlotte, NC, 36:11.63 (5:49 pace)
    • 2nd place: Tessa Allen, 23, from Auburn, AL
    • 3rd place: Amy Kettle, 41, from Nashville, TN
  • 10K men: Jacob Warner, 24, from B’ham, AL, 31:57.50 (5:09 pace)
    • 2nd place: Caleb Van Geffen, 26, from Leeds, AL
    • 3rd place: Will Jordan, 20, from B’ham, AL
  • 5K women: Anne-Marie Blaney, 31, from Rochester, MI, 16:36.19 (5:21 pace)
    • 2nd place: Anna Erdberg, 16, B’ham, AL
    • 3rd place: Luci Williams, 19, B’ham, AL
  • 5K men: Keith Warner, 20, from Hoover, AL, 16:19.85 (5:15 pace)
    • 2nd place: Kenneth Alonso, 17, Bessemer, AL
    • 3rd place: Wilkerson Given, 33, Charlotte, NC
