The Levite Jewish Community Center is excited to announce our newest annual event: Family Fun Day! Everyone — members and non-members — is invited to participate in myriad activities and check out all The J has to offer on Sunday, November 3, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We’ll also be offering special incentives for new members.
The event is free and open to the public, and we will open our doors for non-members to see The J and try out our amenities — from group fitness classes to the fitness floor to the indoor pool.
Forever focused on community
“As a longstanding pillar of our Birmingham community, The J has always been dedicated to providing engaging programs and activities for families throughout the year,” says Executive Director Brooke Bowles. “And so we asked ourselves, ‘Why can’t we host an equally fun event in the fall?’ It turns out that people are pretty excited about the idea.
“After all,” Brooke adds, “‘community’ is our middle name!”
In addition to numerous food trucks, the event will offer attendees various games, a bounce house, a “J Camp experience” (a mini summer camp for kids), and door prizes. We’ll even blow up one of our ginormous pool inflatables in the indoor pool and offer a great line-up of group fitness classes — all of which will be available to non-members.
And with the swag we’ll be offering to new members (including a choice between branded Cotopaxi hip packs and water bottles) along with a great discount — waiving the $150 registration fee — there’s never been a better time to join.
