Fitness Director Camari Princewill has put together a new program for members called the Jumpstart at The J Transformational Challenge. The program launches January 26.
Compared to conventional weight measurements, Jumpstart stands out as a superior method for tracking fitness and weight loss progress. Its comprehensive approach goes far beyond just looking at the number on the scale.
It’s a superior method thanks to the focus on body composition that’s provided by The J’s new InBody device.
Introducing BIA
According to InBody, traditional weight measurements capture only total body weight, which does not distinguish between muscle, fat, bone, and water content. InBody uses advanced bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology to measure body composition, thereby providing a detailed breakdown of lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, and other key metrics.
This method offers a much clearer picture of a person’s health, fitness, and fat loss progress, since muscle mass and fat loss are not always reflected in body weight alone. For example, a person could be gaining muscle while losing fat, leading to little or no change in overall body weight but a significant improvement in body composition. Traditional weight scales can be discouraging in this scenario, but InBody measurements highlight these positive changes in muscle gain and fat reduction.
Affordable six-week course
Over the course of six weeks, Jumpstart participants will track their transformations while gaining valuable insights through advanced InBody scans. As participants work toward their personal body composition goals, they will also have access to “lunch and learn” educational events that will provide essential knowledge for success.
While $40 might typically get you just one InBody scan, for the same price we’re offering this entire package of multiple scans, lunch-and-learn sessions and — for the top three performers — prizes.
All this for only $40!
Tell your friends: New members who join The J by January 15 can get the whole “Jumpstart” program — and more to the tune of $175 — at no additional cost.
“What better way to begin the new year than with a little healthy, sustainable physical transformation?” asks Fitness Director Camari Princewill.
