Levite JCC Youth Theater is pleased to announce that auditions for the fall production of A Year With Frog and Toad Kids will take place August 20 (with callbacks on August 21). The production is open to students in grades K-4, and previous theatrical experience is not required.
A Year with Frog and Toad Kids is a charming musical based on the books by Arnold Lobel. The story follows two best friends, cheerful Frog and grumpy Toad, through four fun-filled seasons of planting gardens, swimming, and sharing adventures. The numerous other cast members include lizards, mice, snails, moles, and more.
Audition submissions are due by the end of the day on August 15.
J’ensemble
In addition, LJCC Youth Theater has created an ensemble program called J’ensemble — an educational opportunity that will provide individual and group instruction in singing, acting, and dance while increasing participants’ confidence and communication skills. These skills prepare young artists with the tools they need for future auditions, whether it be for school talent shows or other theatrical opportunities.
The program, open to students in grades 5-12, will incorporate a workshop format and will conclude with a showcase event. The audition deadline is August 21.
