Hal Abroms is well known in the Birmingham community as a successful businessman, and as a civic leader and philanthropist whose name appears on multiple buildings across the city. He has long been a key supporter of such pillars of Jewish life in Birmingham as Collat Jewish Family Services and the N.E. Miles Jewish Day School.
Listen to Hal recount stories of his journey from small-town Arkansas to Birmingham, with highlights along the way that included the navy and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His first of many trips to Israel happened shortly after the 1967 Six-Day War.
