This year’s $10k donation brings the 12-year total from fundraising in the name of Sam Lapidus to more than $100,000 — all of which benefits the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.
“We are beyond thrilled to be recipients of this CCWS grant,” says ECLC Director Barbara Traweek. “It is our hope that the additional funds will help us attract and retain the best teachers for our preschool programs.”
Following the challenges brought on by COVID-19, the Levite Jewish Community Center (LJCC) has hired seasoned nonprofit leaders Aimee Johnson and Brooke Bowles to move the organization forward.
