Come to The J Wednesday, when we’ll feature Rabbi Adam Wright in our final Southern Jewish Voices program of the season.
“In observing these days we’re not just building connections — we’re using the vibrant tapestry of Israeli culture to build bridges between Birmingham and the Israeli people.”
Marilynn Potts Leeds, a decades-long fixture at The J, has retired after 30 years of personal training.
“It’s also just really fun to hit this silly plastic ball with a paddle in a way that’s hard to understand if you haven’t given it a try,” says Steve Claassen.
The second season of Southern Jewish Voices continued on April 17, when Margaret Norman interviewed Miriam Friedman, director of the Jo Ann Hess Morrison Chai Tots Preschool at Chabad of Alabama.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in Sunday’s Jewish Food and Culture Fest.
The J’s group fitness team will be launching a number of updated Les Mills workout programs next week under the theme “Spring into Fitness!”
Our wonderful Fitness Floor just got even better with the delivery of eight brand-new treadmills and two ellipticals.
